Invasive Species by Kathryn Petersen (AUG 2015)

My play, Invasive Species, had a staged reading as part of People's Light New Play Frontiers.  This play was written through a two-year research and development process.  I became attached to a community garden in Chester County and interviewed gardeners, administrators, church officials. Out of that experience, I created an imaginary world of another community garden.  Using the Adam/Eve/Lilith myth to inform this world, I explored how to grow a community.

A talkback after the reading was moderated by Director Ed Sobel.  Producing Director Zak Berkman and myself fielded questions and comments.
